What do you think? Got tired of the hotspot-inducing abrasiveness of the thumb-ramp on my fixed grip, so slowly ground/sanded down the little devils (blade and handle). Then polished it up for the debut.
Very flexible and versatile little hiking/camping/hunting blade: light (4.6 oz), 154CM which, for me, is a great steel, ambidextrous sheath that can be worn on belt or pack in either vertical or horizontal config due to the molle characteristics, and still grippy. Order one and have at her.
The slabs are thin, about 3/4s of an inch in total handle width. Narrow, but good grip with the inserts. I have big hands, and you do sacrifice some grip in the name of weight.
Allways wanted to try on of those, looks like a great way to get some performance out of it, You know these are the stepping stones to knife making right?
I've been thinking about picking one of these up, but the main dealbreaker for me is the fact that there isn't a kydex sheath for it. If it came with kydex I'd probably own a couple, I looked into having a kydex sheath made for it, but it was prohibitively expensive for the cost of the knife. Maybe I ought to just get some kydex and try to make a sheath for it, but I really don't want to put the sheath/knife making ball into motion, as I'm sure there would be no stopping it.
