They probably went fishing with Buck110 years and years ago.

We need to delete the 'like' function... it has become a pile-on tool, a way of agreeing with a negative post without putting your own skin in the fray. It does certainly show where the alignments are though.

It has already been stated in the thread on VorpalRain over in Whine & Cheese the goal is to get him booted.... christ... 175 posts of crap..... it is the attitude and $%#@%!! displayed in those posts that is spilling over to the Buck forum. Wouldn't want you mother to read what you post there would you? I don't want to be at odds with you guys but you really need to let it go and truly use the 'ignore' button you so often threaten to use.

As much as the negativity from some has been getting on my nerves, let's remember why we're in this specific forum and get back to the basics. It seems to me like we're all good guys here so let's act like it.....
 
I usually don't get involved in this nonsense; I really like coming here for knowledge and information.

If you'll notice my join date, I've been around here for a while and and I've seen this happen before. When the forum gets uncivil I've stayed away for long periods of time and that sucks.

Let's get back to knowledge, information and respect.
 
It's pretty obvious there is a tenacious clever troll in this subforum, (a person who intentionally antagonizes others online by posting inflammatory or irrelevant comments or other disruptive content.) Trouble is the troll is at a gold level and they have privileges. They are also like a toddler and repeat things until someone is so annoyed, they get answered...trouble is they don't go away when they get answered. All they want is attention, so they start again. It's also winter, when some internet trolls are more active since they are more bored and as grandma used to say "idle hands are the devil's workshop." :)

My doctor keeps telling me that bacon is not a condiment and French fries are not a vegetable. I still don't believe her. :D

I won't say any names but there was only one person that made this forum unbearable. His initials where Cliff Stamp.:D

One of the major gun forums I belong to gives you two warnings and then deactivate your account on final warning, even blocking your IP. Maybe a stricter policy here would cause people to be more careful with what they say.

That's my intent, I've had a few 110's over the years and carried one daily for a while. The nicest one I ever had was a CS 110 with Stag handle and BG42 blade, bought it from a close friend of mine and ended up selling it back to him... couldn't stand watching him kick himself in the butt any longer for selling it.

I can assure you that I will not care what membership level they have, how long they have or have not been on the forum or how much " Buck " knowledge they have... the trolling is going to stop.
