I always carry a small tin with some of my essentials, and I had been looking for a small sturdy signal mirror. I ran across this one when I went to the Plaza Cutlery store.

It the same size as a dog tag. Here is a picture form the booklet it comes with.

Edwood7...yes..I cannibalized the AMK kit ....I wanted an emergency water transport bag and found a 4x7 heavy duty zip pouch that fit my cargo pants when folded.... had room inside for some first aid/water tabs and the mirror... I had previously given my Chem I class an assignment to design a dog tag size mirror... the aiming hole on the purpose built mirrors work well... there is a gentleman on the Equipped to Survive forum that has done a lot of research and testing of the various mirrors and manufacturers... the reflective SOLAS approved tape is a good idea.... will stick some of the 3M tape on the back of mine... you might add some monofiliament line to your kit... hang it above your location and allow the wind to move it when you are not actively using the mirror
