I have models with regular stonewash and the same knife with ghetto grind and can say that the extra material removed by going ghetto does create a slightly thinner grind, its most apparent by feeling how the shoulders behind the secondary bevel are almost eliminated.

For sure! Performance isn’t based on just looks though so anyone springing the extra money should be aware they aren’t getting just the bling, they’re getting a weee bit extra slicing ability! Honestly I’m shocked how cheap the ghetto option is because it’s so cleanly done and it turns every knife up to “11”.

My best opinion is buffed Double Red Linen is a multi color with Double Black

I have the same, it’s the new color.

Yes "R_UPS_D" is correct. These are buffed FK2 scales mounted on a BFK. Jo refers to them as Double Red and Black Linen.
