Hello all, I've been around the forums some what, but just recently started to look at this section a bit more. Guess with the weather my outdoor bug has bit me again. I like all the info around here and thought I post some pics (sorry none of me) but of my area. I'm currently just some guitar player on an Island in British Columbia, but who knows where my travels will take me.
Anyways, my parents came out for the weekend for easter and belated birthday celebration. They got me a new pair of dunham hiking boots, so decided to break them in by going up a mountain
lets start things out at the bottom
then in the general area
i found the side streams more interesting
after about a small trek I got to the top (leaving my parents behind about half way up, they just couldnt make it)
I didnt have any dogs with me on the trip
but a rat managed to stow away in my gear
