Here is my second attempt to building a bushcraft knife. I screwed up the first one when heat treading the blade:

Sadly i overheated the tip while finishing the blade so it is probably a bit to soft now.:( Next one will be better.

Looks pretty good for your second knife. Hang in there i think you'll do good. But the handles are too shiny for my taste. Maybe rub some type of wood finish oil into them. You know like a gunstock oil. It will bring out the grain more too. ;)
 
Looks pretty good, especially the curves on the handle. The shiny handle may not look as nice after some hard use. What type of steel are you using?
