The translucent scales on that look fantastic.These are great, some seriously good looking knives. Ill toss another favorite out there to try and keep it going.
No special story on this one aside from it was my first Great Eastern and sold me on the company from that day forward.

This one is special because my wife bought it for me for my birthday (with Mike's help at Collectorknives picking out a gnarly one!).
I really really like that knife....Wow!!! I always wanted the furtaker trapper and that one sings!

Thanks, Gev, I appreciate the kind words. I'm not positive, but I think this was the first GEC with the parallel slant bolsters, which I really like.

Thank you, I am quite fond of them. If I'm not careful this tends to supplant all my other knives in pocket time.
Over the weekend I got to carry another of my favorites (A gift from my in-laws) My Case peanut in smooth chestnut. I'm pretty sure it has got to be my favorite scale case puts out.
