Nope.... I washed the blade with Dawn and water then rinsed it off and dried it.

OH Ok, i really dont know if baking soda makes a difference or not i just read it neutralizes the acids and citrus being pretty much pure acid it seems a good idea to neutralize it. but like i said i have no idea the science involved or if it is needed or not.
