Some more detail.

Seems to be working pretty well which is good because I didn't want to test fire it with any parts loose so I welded her up solid before firing. Once it was hot it took what seemed like only a few minutes to get a 12" piece of leaf spring to critical temp. Will still have a bit of tweaking. closing up the front door seemed to help get a lot more heat.

Going to see if I can bang out a blade tomorrow.

Looks good. Do you think it would run better if it the area around the burner was enclosed?

I wasn't sure at first but while I had some iron in there I tapped one of the bricks to close it up a little and it seemed to help get it hotter. Will have to experiment some more with that.
