  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Letchworth State Park

I think that leaking mushroom is an inky cap of some sort.

I would have that pegged as a Shaggy Ink Cap if it were here. If it is it is food. Although you don't want to be taking alcohol in the same period as digesting it.

I stayed at the bed and breakfast right there at the falls 2 summers ago.Walked a couple trails one into some eastern old growth.Amazing park saw turkeys, mink, racoons and WT deer.Liked the civil war history monument also. Thanks for posting brought back some fond memories.

Nice pics, John! I'm glad you are getting use out of the osage. There is PLENTY more if you or anyone needs it. Seriously, I'm making more every day. :D
Thanks, by the way, for that book, it's really interesting, and Aiden loves the little wooden guy you made him. He tells everyone that John made it for him(hearing a 3 year old stumble over your last name is precious).

Awesome! Glad to hear Aiden likes the carving. That osage is good stuff, and I only used a couple pinches each night we were out.
