I like smaller fixed blades, but all these quarter sized knives are just tinyI may have to get some to try them out, now.
Going small is a fun way to experiment with how much you don't need. Kind of like ultra light backpacking, or using ultra light fishing tackle to land a tarpon. Or Boar hunting with a handgun for up close game. My backpacking from years ago bled over into my edc life, and it was amazing how light your pockets can get, yet still deal with life's little problems. I love taking out my tiny Victorinox classic to do some large cutting job, and people amazed at how the tiny sharp blade when right through 1/2 inch nylon or polypro rope. Or opening a large family size can of something with a P-38 out of your wallet. Or riding the whole length of the Blue Ridge Parkway on a Vespa motor scooter. Kind of like the reverse of one- upmenship. One-downmenship is playing with peoples minds. Or opening them to other possibilities.
