Let's give away an old Schrade Scrimshaw!

Don't remember my first one ,but the one that really got me started was an 8OT my paternal grandfather kept in his desk. He only carried it when we hunted ringnecks. That fact only added to the knifes magic! As Iwas growing up I always found some excuse to go in Pop Pops desk and fondle that knife. His daily carry knife was also a Schrade. Its a TL-29 style electricians knife but I don't the model #
Thanks for the chance Bigmo.

Thanks for the chance. My first Schrade was purchased rather recently, only this summer. It is a 881 which I got new in the tube (made in NY). For hte money, it is a well made knife that I include in my regular rotation. I especially like the large Texas clip with the long pull. The knife is older, but well made. It spurred me to buy some other Schrades. I have been very happy with most of my other purchases.

Gosh,I cant recall my 1st Schrade, but i hunted with a LB-7 for years. It gutted and cut up many a deer. Thanks for the chance.I like the little liner lock trappers. They get laser sharp!

Since hunting season is about to begin around here I've been carrying my Schrade Old Timer sheath knife on scouting expeditions. Around the house I've been carrying an Old Timer work knife(a TL-29 with a 3rd blade). Great handy-man knife. Thanks for the chance, and your generosity.

My first Schrade was a 33OT Jackknife that I bought at Wal-Mart in about 1980. I think it was the first American made knife I ever owned. I splurged and probably paid about $12.00 for it. Which was probably 2 hours of my pay at the time. Still my favorite pattern of any brand of knife made. Thanks for the chance.

Unfortunately I've never had a Schrade before :(
But my stepdad had a big ol' schrade lockback in his truck he let me use a few times.
Thanks for the chance :D

That's a great giveaway. I've got a couple of Schrade Scrimshaws myself.
The ones I have are like the second and fourth in thawks picture. Nice knives.

Please don't include me for the giveaway. Thanks.

Thanks for the chance, have always liked but never owned one of the scrimshaw versions. My first Schrade (that I owned) was an old timer stockman given to me by my Dad.....an awesome knife, never let me down.

count me in too please if not too late. My first Schrade was an Xtimer lockback USA made bought off ebuy to replace my lost work knife. It was then that my iinterest in Schrades & pocket knives in general began. You can feel the quality.
cheers.

Is it alright to put my name in even if I've never owned a Schrade knife? If not, please disregard this post! If so, thanks for the generous chance! It looks pretty slick.

First Schrade? A good old 8OT, back in '93 when I joined Scouts. The classic Camillus Scout is a fine knife, but I wanted something a bit better for whittling. It was my go-to work knife for more than a few years, and though it's a bit thin in the blade now, it still cuts like a laser.

my first Schrade was given to me by my grandfather. I never saw him with anything but a Schrade.

My first Schrade was the good 'ol 8OT. Used it pretty extensively through the 90's, but not so much now. After I got my Sharpmaker a while back, I took it out of the drawer to see what kind of edge it would take. It got wicked sharp very fast. Great knife. It has the long nail pull, so I guess it was made by Camillus?? I'll try to edit this with a picture later.

I'm in and thanks for the generous give-away.

My father always carried schrade knives. I received my first schrade from him in 1999 when i took a part time job working with him. I had taken to not carrying a knife at the time and he said that it wasn't a good idea to show up to work without a knife in your pocket. It looked alot like this

Oh goodness, that was my first one as well. Except the difference was that mine was confiscated by my Dad, rather than given:P Wish I could find another one of those.

Very generous of you mate, I don't want to take the chance from someone else though, just wanted to comment on the little green fella:D

Well I just left my Working mans knife 194ot in my working mans pants and my working mans wife washed the pants and the knife. So Ive got a lot of work to do on my knife. Thanks for the opportunity. I would love to win it.

Thanks for the chance! My first Schrade was a Sharpfinger-I worked all summer putting up hay to buy it for hunting season!
