Lets go Backpacking!

I will be doing an overnighter Fri. July 4th. Mt. Baldy to Cucamonga Peak in Southern California, sleeping at the top watching fireworks, then back out saturday. Easy 12 miles. If anyone wants to go, let me know.

Friday in, saturday out. It will be me and my hiking friend that you guys may have seen pictures of, the real hand with nice nails in the JK Knives Passaround video.

sorry had to reboot my p.c.. The main Q is water is there a place to get water or we need to carry it for two days??

Plennty of water, last fill up is four miles from the top. It's only a quick overnighter. Lets do it. Maybe Ray Lanconica and Tknife want to go.
 
where is the meet up point and what time is it??? I can bring the stove with plenty of fuel. I dont have any food dehadrated.. But i got some freeze dried food and for over night i would pick something in the house.

Man I've been wanting to go with you guys but I've got family plans already for Friday and Saturday. I hiked to the top of Baldy back in 2000 and I didn't think it was easy! Let's plan to do a trip together in a month or so. I really want to go. One of you guys can plan it or maybe I can plan it. We can go somewhere in Southern Cal. or in the Sierra. Let's do it!

Sounds good. Baldy can be a little challenging but we got time to make it to the top for a fireworks show. Sasha we can meet at the Icehouse Trailhead. I will email you.

Ray we need to do that. I am in Peru from July 16-28, Mount Whitney July 29-31. Then totally free.

Tknife if you get this, lets go.
 
Dang I wish I could too, but we already have the usual bbq plans etc. on the 4th. Take some pics though. Hopefully I can make the next one.
