I have only had it for one season Trout but I've had no issues nor have I read any reviews where there was an issue. It probably wouldn't be my first choice for running heavy rapids but that's not what it was intended for. The main reason I got it was the ease of getting it on and off my car. At 26lbs. it seams like a feather compared to my fiberglass canoe. I also wanted a solo canoe since about 80% of the time it's just me and the dog. I find that I go out more often when I don't have to wrestle a heavy canoe on and off my vehicle several times. Aesthetically it is a very handsome boat for what it's worth.
