Let's play a little game?

Within 10 feet there is more gear than some sporting goods stores. Blades, lighters, flashlights, guns and more guns, clothes. Heck I don't have any food but I have a 2liter water bottle and a faucet within 10 feet along with a couple empty gatorade bottles. I could easily do an overnighter with just what's within arms reach.

Given the time of year I would probably be okay as my fridge and pantry are in range as are blankets, a knife and a hawk, but wearing only boxers and a maybe a blanket toga would ensure I was spectacularly unhappy.

Well I just took my clothes off for the night but all my EDC contents and tee he's my fixed blades with fire-fishing-sharpening-kits are attached to my bed post + Model 15 S&W .38 Revolver so..

I'm pretty well set! :D

dam all I got is my gear , generator , tents , all the dam family camping gear .. the tucker box is 11 foot away :(
got a few days worth of dehydrated food in the bags tho .

My apartment is 16'x20' with full pack, tent, fishing gear, guns, knives, food all within arms reach so I'm good to go.

It depends on the wilderness. I am not prepared to handle extreme cold without shelter (hypothermia), extreme dryness (dehydration), extreme heat without shelter (hyperthermia), or a multitude of other situations. However, I should be able to survive in the Pasayten this time of year or similar unless the mosquitoes got me.

I'm at the library. All I have on my person is a "Baby" Swiss Army Knife - and a Glock G27. I might do OK. Cheers.

My room is pretty small, and my desk is right next to my closet where I keep all my stuff. I would have some good stuff. Containers, backpacks, dufflebags, flashlights, few knives, firestarters, lighters, pens/pencils/markers, blankets, my oakleys, clothes and shoes. The only stuff I don't really have here is cordage, a shelter, food, and water (aside from half a can of coke and a bag of chips. I have full pack of cigarettes though!

Funny this made me think of those doomsday preppers and how I don't prep in any way really, I just like to keep my wilderness stuff organized and in my closet. But if there was some crazy scenario where I had to leave right now I wouldn't be too bad off. I'm pretty sure there are two rain ponchos in my pack as well, so i mean you pair that with a couple of sticks and viola you got a raft/sniper tower/spaceship!

Currently sitting on the couch in my living room, so I think I'm set. I have a tent, two sleeping bags, two air matresses, two roll mats, IKEA hobo, multiple knives (of course :D) ,paracord, three Fenix flashlights+batteries in my bed room and a bottle of red wine next to me :D.

Not much food around, 4 cans of tuna, some noodles, couple of peppers and tomatoes in the fridge, but looking at my self, I could last a couple days without food ;)

well, im in the lady-piece's bedroom.... so i have my normal pocket stuff; a matchsafe with about 20 strike anywhere matches, a leatherman micra, my ten year old kershaw 3.5" folder, my olight s10 baton, fully clothed plus a hoodie, my watch, my wallet, and my phone with 1/3 battery life. no food though... i could last a night or two easily with my survival rate steadily plummeting after that-- unless i could get reception and find a place that delivered, i dont have too much faith in my knife hunting skills...

Well this is interesting, I'm testing out a sleeping mat on my bedroom floor while breaking in my new strider SMF and within arms reach are about 10 knives, a tomahawk, water bottles, a mystery ranch crewcab filled with everything I need for the weeklong canoe trip and trust me I overpacked. I leave on Saturday.

My pack is in the closet, loaded and ready to go. There is a little food in it, and my nalgene is sitting right here, too. So is my lab. I am all set. Let's go.

I really lucked out. I'm in my car on lunch break. I have my get home bag in the trunk which should be more than enough to sustain me for a week. I don't have food for a week but hopefully I could ration what I have and gather the rest.

Something to entertain eachother with.. If you had to survive a week in the wilderness right now only with what is in your pockets and withing a 10 foot radius from you, how prepared are you?

I am sitting in my den, surrounded by about $30K worth of camping, hunting, fishing, shooting, ammo, reloading and survival gear and stacks of Mountain House and MREs. I'm ready.
