Let see some pics of how you edc you Izula, whether its hanging from your neck, pants, or whatever method you use. I got one coming in the mail. I work in an office environement so in plain sight is out of the question. I can make my own kydex sheath if need be. Thanks.

Good thread.
I'm interested to see how you guys mount yours to packs. In particular on the shoulder straps.
And alternative to neck or belt.

I just drop mine in my right front pocket. So its pretty simple.

There are so many ways though... I guess that is why you want pictures. :)

I usually just carry it in my front right pocket. I find it too noticeable to be carried as a neck knife (at least with the sheath it ships with).

I also carry my Izula dangling in my right front pocket, with some paracord looped around my belt. Works great. Sorry for the lack of pics, but I'm in a bit of a rush this morning! :)

This is how I carry mine every day to work. No tying, easy on/off, almost not detectable. Used the stuff that came in the kit. This way it keeps it from the bottom of your pocket, so you can carry stuff in there too. I usually keep a Fenix L1D and a Vic Champion Plus or Swisschamp in the 5th pocket, too.

Best way for me.

(The photos look a little wierd, perspective-wise, but you get the idea. I am not really used to awkwardly pointing a camera at this part of my body...)

Great carry idea:thumbup:

I'm with the in-the-pocket guys. I haven't even tried a chain or cord on the sheath. It goes on a front or back pants pocket, and before the weather really heated up, in a vest pocket.

At the computer, it's hanging off the bulletin board in front of me, on top of my other smaller neckers. Its only competition these days is an oldtimer I picked up, a REKAT Fang. Same size, thinner stock, more a skinner than a general utility. Two beautiful designs.

Right front pocket all the time tip down. I don't even feel its here even when in a cramped Cessna cockpit (I'm 6ft3" 250+ lbs) and it carries itself well. Haven't carried a folder since then.

I use mine most when hiking. I attached my Izula to the left shoulder strap of my day pack. Very easy to get to quickly.

Yeah I tried the neck carry, just a little too much weight. Plus too difficult to get to.

I have a round sinnet paracord fob that I loop through the bottom of the sheath that hangs out of the pocket. when I need it just pull on the fob.

Anyone thought about the Mercharness?

Also I was wondering, is it possible to wear your izula horizontal on your belt?

Yes. I have but its kind of a pain unless your shirt is tucked in.
Other wise, it catches my shirt. Its not bad on the small of my back. But its just not as comfortable and accessible as side, vertical carry.

Mine is around my neck. I have to wear a tie most days, so that helps with the concealment. That said, it doesn't outline with the cut of shirt I tend to wear.

Sorry no pic this time.

I keep mine strapped to the back of my camelbak between the water bladder and the external storage pouch. So the only thing exposed is a paracord lanyard hanging from the bottom. It is easy to access and at the same time is well hidden.
