Doing final walkthru to see if we forgot anything. We are leaving on a 3 to 4 week vacation, mostly camping, butt also looking at some property.
It was hard to decide which clothes to take. Weather is quite variable in Colorado and Oregon. Butt it was even harder deciding which knives to leave home.
I ended up with my small camp ax (tentpeg hammer), my new Vaquero Grande beat out my old CS Bushmaster as light duty machete/brushtrimmer. A LM Wave made the cut. I will definitely carry my new Starmate as my working knife (Military is squirreled away for comparison/backup) The choice for dinner-in-town carry was between the Calypso Jr BM or my Viele. The Viele won. I used it last trip for cleaning trout and it worked great and its sooo smooooth. A fixed blade Moran is the only knife my wife will carry. Oh yes, and my new Sharpmaker, nice compact package.
And if I need something else, I'm touring Spyderco and their new SFO.
(Thanks Danelle and Charlie)
Now if those Thunderstorms would just die down.
