Lets see some beaters

Well, the recycling centers stopped taking schorched wire here. Maybe they do now, but the last time I turned in wire was 3-4 years ago.
I see, in that case, I'd probably do the same

Back to the topic at hand.
I've got a CRKT Cruiser that I bought when i was 17. The tip is broken off. I've used it as a chisel. I've dug screws and nails out of wood. Its covered in rust and dirt. I bent the blade from opening countless paint cans. The clip fell off so i super glued it back on. It developed blade play, but i messed with the pivot screw and its solid now. Pics when the wife gets home with the camera.

Harayasu, is that top most knife a Normark? I had a folder like that but in black back in the 80's and it was made by Normark. I remember that goofy lock, it was a very sharp knife. It also had a hide-away lanyard ring.

The knife on top is a EKA Swede 60, made by EKA Knivar. I also have an EKA Swede 88 and that one has the text Normark on it. My Swedish is not very well, but from what I understand from the Normark site, the company Normark is a distributor of products for fishing, hunting and outdoor. They don't make products, they select products and then sell them.

To make the list complete: the second one is a German made Friedrich Herder. I don't know who made the lower two knives, they are working knives distributed by Adola and Homeij respectively.

I tend to use my Glock 78 for the heavy stuff. I used it as a pry bar, used it as a wedge to make kindling, scored aluminum coil stock, cut shingles, Even used it to plant some type of bulb in the wife's garden. Clean it off, touch up the blade a bit, oil, and it is ready to go again

I’m still waiting for those pics btw, don’t think I’ve forgotten. :p

OK. Here they are, finally. I had some technical difficulties that you can read about here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=662047

I couldn't get the marco setting on my camera to work and I took these at night, but that's the best I could do. Sorry

used and abused? IDK about you guys but I keep my knifes as sharp as humanly possible and most times that means replacing them after a single use. Ya never know when you will need to have it slide thru something without catching. The only 2 knifes/knife related I have used and still have which I keep around are my throwing knifes and my CS shovel which I use to hack up firewood (I must admit that I have considered replacing it and putting a new razor edge on the new one).

I'll take your leftovers. ;)

You ever notice on a lot of movies when dude throws aknife and sticks it in another dude's back (killing him), he never pulls it out? Wasteful.

Eccvets is simply telling all you wannabes how it is.

After a single non-use, I replace my knives. Yes, I'm just that picky.

That's the way we roll, dawg.:)

Also, after the firearm runs out of ammo...they toss it !!! WTF!???
Or they knock the armed bad guy unconscious, then run off without taking his weapon!!!
Jeeez! - these kind of "heroes" deserve to die!!
