Any idea when they started putting date codes on them (and when they switched to S30V steel)? I've had mine for over 10 years IIRC, and it has no date code, and 440V steel.Nice pic, Whats the D.O.B on your's Mine is MAY 06
I finally found the date on mine, after looking at a Scallion I bought at around the same time, and finding the date code near the pivot. It isn't visible if the knife is open or closed, only part way open, and since my Boa's blade is black and the printing is black, it was very difficult to see until I looked in just the right spot and shone a flashlight on the area. June 2002.If yours has a date code it can be found on the reverse side of the blade while opening it.
also I believe Kershaw started putting dates on their U.S.A. made models in 2000
