Let's See Some Edges!

As close as I can get to a full height convex on my bk2. Rounded the shoulder from the flat to the secondary then rounded that, then fully convexed the primary.

I tried capturing it in a photo, but no bevel makes tough to auto focus and I don't like the manual type thing my phone has.

Edit: Thanks GSoM, your 7 is one of the better looking projects that I have seen in awhile. Great work, I enjoyed you taking us on the path to completion.

Granite, that is one seriously weaponized Becker. Nicely done.

Thank you, sir. Though it still curls wood pretty good, too. I've been wearing it on my belt for the last week or so because I really want it to be a user....and the sheath needed breaking in. It's the sharpest Becker I own. Been thinking about sharpening the last inch or two of the swedge. Gonna carry it a little more before I'll know what I think.

And that is nice also, NJBill. Very nice.

Does that pommel/bottle opener/denogginizer ever get bitey when you're carrying it? I deployed with a little bowie I'd made with a tapered and exposed prybar tang and I finally wrapped the whole thing in 100mph tape, so as to have some skin on the inside of my elbow ever again lol.
You going to the Manchester NH gun show next weekend?

So far, no. All the edges are eased, and the way it hooks keeps the pointy-ish part pointing backwards. It also rides pretty low, so I won't drag my elbow across it by accident. I'll get a pic of it in carry position. Email me from my avatar; I'll shoot you my cell and we can talk about ManchVegas next weekend. Might be doable.....

Here you go. The micarta is different than the stuff you can buy. Tooj sent me the micarta on the left before he left Ka-Bar.
It's some of the first stuff Ka-Bar made up, and it's not as coarse as the current micarta, shown on the middle knife.

Thanks - really like it.

Thought I'd throw in mine for the show. My new bk24 that I'm absolutely in love with. I reprofiled the factory edge on my 1x30 belt sander with a 400 grit belt. Then a king 1k, king 6k, and Chinese 12k natural. Finished with CrOx loaded strop and then bare leather.

The 4 and 17 fresh off the sharpmaker
