ya, there are 4 of them. none of them had tan scales, so skunks is a fourth custom peice.

I think the third photo really illustrates why i dont like the active duty handles - when you grip hard, your hand naturally slides back to let the large rounded spine rest in the center of your palm. but when its like that, your gripping it in a tilted position, with the knife fairly forward in your hand. with the slight modification, basically making the handle more plain in its contours, you get a more secure grip in a forward position. when you squeeze hard, your pam dosen't feel the swell pressing against the insides of your metacarpals.

i just hated the choil.

If I had one I'd use it, but I don't waste my time or money buying show pieces that I never intend to use o have no purpose.. Every knife I buy has the likelyhood of being used and used hard. That is why I always get duplicates. That way I can always have a prestine one on hand.

Do you thow those MOASH's or just beat on them?
Some pictures of those bad boys in action might be nice.
They must go Flyin' real good..... being .350" thick and all.
