Whitty, is this blade profile (Hinderer’s sheepsfoot) more slicey that previous Hinderer models. I’ll probably wait for the gen 5 to drop.

Unless the secondary edge is insanely obtuse, those look noticeably thinner behind the edge than any production Hinderer I've seen.

The Gen 4 with Sheepsfoot Blade is only being offered in DLC from what I understand. The Gen 5s will come in Battle Black, Stonewashed, Working Finish and possibly Two Tone!

Anyone else just amazed by the action on the 3" Gen 4s? Every one I've had or held has been awesome. Excellent flippers while still able to easily use the thumb studs to slow open, and silky smooth. Just perfect detents IMO.

The new Gen 5 Sheepsfoot arrived today. I take a lot of knives apart for anodizing and can say Hinderer once again crushed it with the insert. Very well done without making the ti around it to thin and still making the lock up thick on the steel insert. Fits nice and snug too!
