Lets see some Hinderer action

That's cool! I think you need black hardware on the working finish one to really complete the yin and yang look of that photo!

There must not have been too many stonewash ones, all I've found so far is working finish. I think DLT needs to make a no choil skinny slicer!

Ummmm... WTH is that?

It’s definitely a 3” somethin’. The proportions, blade stop size, scale screw size all scream 3.0. The rifle’s trigger guard dwarfs the knife too.
It’s got real close lines to the Slippy.

Is he really going to debut it with a choiled Sheepsfoot?

Was really hoping for a Slicer!

Rifle pictured is an Enfield 1903/1908 .303.. (also says this on tag).

Not sure I'd consider this a debut. It's a little early yet. Gotta be some other grind/blade shape(s) coming. Hoping.

I actually think I might like a 3" Sheepsfoot better than the Slicer. On the fence about the liner lock concept, but I'm excited.

That's gotta be the 3" skinny. Only two standoffs/screws. No way its more than 3".

I like it.

Yea it's definitely not a debut. Rick often posts these teasers with a new knife and a rare gun. He'll probably have a video or a live chat about it by the weekend though, I'd consider that the official debut.

Rick likes to play guessing games with his collection of rare guns, he posted up another picture of the rifle, it's stamped "Enfield 1899". Does that change your answer Icky Thump Icky Thump ? Rick never confirmed what it was in the group, and I'm no expert on firearms.

The new screws make it look like it will only require a single tool to take apart, like the Fulltrack. I wonder if it will have the onboard takedown tool like the Fulltrack, but I don't think it will, because it would be in the way of the lanyard hole. It would also have to have a captive pivot unlike the traditional XM pivots.

I was also hoping for a slicer on this one, but I hope this is a good sign and that we will see a skinny sheepsfoot 3.5" XM-18 eventually.

Guessing games and video chats..? Where is this..FB, or instagram? I'd like to get down on some of that..

My heart sank a little when I saw the Vintage Series..what great/cool idea..sorry to have missed those, I'm new on the brand and have had my expectations exceeded.

As to my guess? No, I'll hold. I'm no expert, especially on the vintage British stuff, but..looks like a different rifle you may have posted than the one in the above..looks like a 1908 stamp in the first image, w/ a CLLE..looks to be a different roll mark altogether..could be wrong..

Would love to see continuation on the Firetac..

It's on FB, the Hinderer groups on there are pretty much the only reason I still have a FB account. Rick interacts with the collectors on there a lot, and it's pretty nice to be able to ask a question and get a reply from the man himself.

As for the rifle, I just posted up what Rick posted. I'm in no way a firearms expert, all I could tell from the rifle was that it was an Enfield, and that's only from seeing them in WWII movies and such... we all know hollywood is the best source of info for firearms of course...

If you want more info on the FB groups send me a PM, i'm not sure what BF's policy on posting them publicly are.

Rick just posted this teaser, interesting hardware, could this be the 3 inch skinny? I don't know the rifle it's on so getting a perspective on the size is kinda hard...

Where did he post this? Can't find it on IG. ...Never mind. Answered above. I never check FB, lol.

Anyone picked up a non-flipper spear point yet? Let’s hear some impressions! :D

If it was a slicer I would definitely pick one up, but I ended up selling my spear point because it was too thick behind the edge. A shame because it was perfect otherwise. I’m looking for either a non-flipper slicer or skinny slicer to replace it. Seems like I’m always one spec off with 99% of Hinderer’s knives that are available. Not a fan of the working finish, so that eliminates half my options right there..
