I want to start out by Saying I heart DLT and Rick Hinderer :D
Wow this Hinderer DLT Exclusive Skinny Just might be my favorite Hinderer to date:thumbsup:
Love the feel in hand and should carry nicely and I will know tomorrow because it’s going in my pocket no doubt. Love the thin blade and looks nice and thin behind the edge should be a nice slicer. The Natural Micarta Scale is really nice and like the color it looks much better in person. I adjusted the color on the picture to make it look more true to life and it’s pretty darn close now.DLT is such a great dealer I can’t say enough about them and I’d have to write a page or so to show my appreciation to them over the years and to date they’ve never let me down. They surprised me with the dark earth DLT/Hinderer Matt and it’s really nice to. I’m digging the od green g10 also and l’ll probably run it a week or so before I put the Micarta on as a treat for later lol
Anyway here’s the pics and couldn’t be happier ! Time to flip the clip and make dinner in that order of course :D

Anyone know the dps of the factory edge of the 3.5" skinny slicer? I suspect it is at least 20 dps, correct?

I haven't checked mine yet. Most of my XM's (non-skinny's) have come from the ranch at closer to 25 per side (they don't stay there though). When I profile my SS (skinny slicer), it will be at 20 per side to see how that works out.
 
This Skinny Slides nice into my 5th pocket which is my carry pocket of choice normally .
Can’t even tell it’s there :thumbsup:

The factory bevel on my xm-18 3.5" skinny slicer is pretty narrow. Considering the blade is thinner than the standard xm-18 3.5", I feel it could be more than 20 dps. Am thinking about reprofiling it to 17 dps, but I imagine that will result in a much wider bevel.

As thin as the stock is behind the edge, I feel more comfortable starting out at 20 per side, especially in M390.

Yep, unless I'm having a very busy week all my new Hinderers that will be carried don't last 24 hours before getting a nice 20° edge.
