Nah, not really.. I do the same thing with my favorite knives (just different colors if I can), like my Eklipses, XM-24s and I have a whole bunch of 0452s (6 different versions, and multiple gold M390 ones I’ll probably never part with)…. So I get it lol

Question is which one is the user and which one will stay nice? I’d use the SW, and keep the Blue one BNIB

Good question, because I’ve been keeping the blue one as safe queen till I found a second one. I think in the long term I would be keeping the blue one, which means that should be my user so if I decided to sell one, I’d sell the one I was less likely to enjoy, which would be the stonewashed. Then I could honestly say uncarried unused.

I decided I'm going to carry my blue Hinderer Auto without a safe queen, and sold the second one (natural stonewashed model) to my friend Screebo Screebo at my cost. I ate the shipping to forward it to him, and it was cheaper to get hold of DLT and ask them to give the new address to FedEx. It just didn't feel right to hold onto more than one of these while others are going without.

DLT got hold of FedEX while the knife was still in Memphis at the hub, but they sent it to CO an hour and a half later, sigh... So now it shows an exception in CO while being rerouted I hope. Either that, or it is still coming to me but the hail storms today slowed it down, since the original delivery date was today and I could have shipped it out tomorrow. In that case I'll just ship it to him and ask DLT for the $20 change fee back, or take an account credit.
 
I wonder if Rick will ever consider making the 24 Skinny in triway ...

Idk about that but I just saw a YouTube video from RHK, that showed some knives he brought to blade show….
Apparently there was a Full Track Wharncliffe! Have you ever seen that model in a Wharncliffe before?
Just wondering because I read in blade magazine a couple months back, that suggested they were going to start producing them again… anyway here’s the vid… what a cool knife 😎

Anyone else able to score one of DLT’s Exclusive Swedged Spear Eklipse’s in Magnacut on their drop today ? I set my alarm to make sure I wouldn’t miss it . First one I had picked was sold before checkout was complete but my second choice I was able to snag. Basically same knife just different scales and I have a textured tan Micarta ready for install anyway but will probably run the FDE for a few days.
Really exited for this one 👍🏻
 
I was considering it but passed. Was still a couple available an hour after drop. When’s the last time Hinderers lasted an hour?

I saw that too but just for kicks I tried putting them in my cart and it was saying unavailable?It was like the website didn’t update until you tried to buy it even when refreshing the page . Anyway I love magnacut so it was the frosting on the cake for me along with the swedged spear point 👍🏻👊🏻
Also I would imagine how many they have for that particular drop will also determine the time they will be available.

Congrats on scoring one! I love the Eklipse model, it’s the most ergonomic knife IMO. Awesome that this one is in Magnacut too.

Thanks Brother ! This will be my second one sold the first for no other reason except I needed the funds for another knife . Regretted it ever since and kept Missing out like the Wharnie at DLT on their last drop. I was determined to get this one especially in Magnacut . I also agree that’s one of the things that made me fall in love with the Eklipse is it’s Egos. I was a XM 18 /Halftrack Kind of guy and still love them but the Eklipse is my favorite.
 
I'm more of an XM-18 guy, so I passed on the Eclipse drop. I do have a Jurassic in Magnacut and it's great steel, as is my XM-18 in S45VN. The rest of mine are in the ubiquitous 20CV, which is fine; so the Magnacut Eclipse was just not enticing enough to go for it, in light of some of the more recent expensive purchases I've made.
