Lets see some Hinderer action

Shockingly it's been whole minutes on the latest 3.5 DLT drop and there are still some available.

I've never seen a Tri-Way Fatty before, I need another knife like I need a hole in the head, and I usually don't buy blue or jade knives...but Tri-Way Fatty Wharncliffe! Curse my weak will. šŸ˜…

When you actually click on the ones that appear to be in stock (on the page that shows everything XM-18) they're actually not. What we really want are more Skinny Harpoon Spanto in Stonewash.

Oh for sure, 30 minutes is like a geological epoch in terms of Hinderer drops. šŸ˜† But just lasting several minutes was a real surprise!

Jade/blue is a color combination I likely wouldn't have considered if something more traditional were available, but I'm glad I rolled those dice because it's a dynamite color combo. Cheers to J Jordan@DLT and the whole gang there for, as always, somehow magically teleporting this knife directly to my house. šŸ˜

I have a 3" blue Ti scale and a 3" in orange G-10 and really like the size. I don't think the lighter blade is as satisfying to flick open as with the 3.5", but the drop in weight and bulk is very noticeable for carrying all day in shorts.
That's interesting to hear. I prefer the 3-inch Spanto of those two. The detent is lighter, but the blade is heavier. It's just pleasant to flip.

I haven't seen a 3.5 Tri-Way in real life, but I have one inbound to see what all the fuss is about. ;)

Mine are both M390 Slicers (orange with working finish, anodized blue with stonewash). I would prefer the Spanto though... I really love the Spanto Harpoon blade on my 3" Halftrack, but the overall knife is more bulky and angular than the XM-18 3 inch.

I've since gone with burgundy scales

So, my newest heavier 3ā€ Spanto blade XM-18 flips open and drops shut a little better than my lighter 3ā€ slicer blades. Kinda between a 3.5ā€ XM-18 and a 3ā€ with slicer blade.
