Lets see some Hinderer action

Yes I actually use my Hinderers.

Nice! I field dressed a doe with this one. I ran it under a faucet for 30 seconds once we got back to the house an hour later, gave it a few quick flings to get the water out and it was just as smooth as the first day I bought it and still shaving sharp. Probably should’ve taken my XM-18 Skinner , lol.

Don't get me wrong, I like my PX. But the Fulltrack is just all around the better knife :)

Actually, if I remember right, the above is the knife that got my Hinderer craze started.
I had the first gen Fulltrack but it wasn’t for me. Beautiful knife but just didn’t feel good in hand for me. The PX feels like it was made for my hand it also pretty much disappears in my pocket and carry’s so well.

When did the first gen full track get released

When did the first gen full track get released
It’s been so long ago I can’t give you an accurate time frame . I know I purchased mine from DLT on one of their first drops . It actually had issues with lockbar stick. I almost couldn’t get the lockbar released to send it back lol. It was horrible I don’t think my thumb has ever been the same and even after it was released it was like moving a bear trap 😆 After that run I think they pulled them or stopped production for a while hence didn’t see any available for a long while.Obviously they don't have that issue now but it never felt good in “my” hand or pocket so I never looked back.

In 2018 ? (when I joined BF, to buy one, among others). Some had lockstick which - as usual with any perceived RHK issue - was pushed as a huge issue by the haters. Rick fixed that in the 2nd Gen, also made the thumb lock access easier. Then he stopped making them, apparently they were too expensive to build with little ROI. I was surprised when he started making them again recently (Gen 3?).

I love it because of size (my sweet spot, like a Buck 110), it's slicier and easier to carry than the XM24, and compared to the PX, the scales protect the lockbar, and I like the "Art Deco" look and fuller, very cool design.

I was a hater when I had my fulltrack but not of Rick but of that model . My thumb was tore up and numb think I screwed up the nerves in my thumb . After spending that money I was determined to try and make it work and tried to love it even with my torn up thumb. So yeah I had a little hatred towards that model. The PX melts in my hand unlike the fulltrack and there was a lot of hot spots for me with the fulltrack. Also the PX carry’s so nicely unlike the squared off thick Fulltrack. But hey a lot of folks love it including you and that’s great :)
