How many hinderers do you own whitty? I've caught the fever and I need one more. I have two skinners and I need a slicer. Do you have any in stock? It'll be a week or so before I can buy one

Love the slicer, i tried getting one from usa made blade a few weeks ago to no avail.. pm in boundI have looked at the spanto but I think I like the slicer better with its thinner tip. Do you have any idea when you'll get another shipment of them? What is your favorite blade style for all around use?

What a cool job. That'd be neat to see and test out all the different blade shapes. I have to rely on YouTube. You know what really sucks though is that I just can't bring myself to use my anthracite skinner. I carry it all day but it's just so beautiful that I haven't even cut anything with it yet haha.In order I like the Spanto, Skinner, Spearpoint, Slicer, Wharnie then Bowie. Just my personal preference. I will not carry a knife unless we have it in stock so I was really stoked to get Spantos back in stock today. Mine went right back in my pocket. Funny thing is in the 24 the Spearpoint is my favorite.

For aftermarket, Eric Shepard does a really nice job with carbon fiber. I've seen his stuff on the Herder's Barn Finds facebook page, and I think he is here also in the services offered section. I noticed lately he's been doing some with the carbon fiber that's got glowy stuff in it, pretty neat stuff.
I'm going to be doing some in DragonPlate carbon fiber eventually, I've had it on the shelf for months and haven't messed with it yet. I mainly got it to do inlays into Ti with, should be pretty cool.
I like the way this Harpoon Fatty turned out!

It's been a while since we've had a hinderer picture thread. I just saw last night there's some new stuff coming from the ranch. Copper scales and liners as well as brass.
Looking forward to seeing what you've got!
Hey, nice thread, Marcus! I see you've posted in a similar thread I started for Shiros over here, so I figured I'd return the favor and add something Hinderer to this one.
I got my first Hinderer on the Exchange in the last couple weeks. Just what I need--another knife brand to fall in love with to go along with all the Spydies, BMs, ZTs, CRKs, Shiros, Wilson Combats, and, well, y'all get the idea.
This one is a 4th Gen 3.5" XM18 Spanto, though I'm sure all you Hinderer fan-boys can see that in an instant.I'm not into a lot of bling, but do like something different and have a number of blades that are a little beyond stock. This one has the brass stand-offs, LBS, and filler tab along with the dragon etching on the lock side. The dragon's not something I'd normally think would check any boxes for me, but it's really kinda cool. I love the heavy stonewash on the blade and Ti scales which is very much like my Ritter Grips and WC Eagle. This knife goes right into my EDC work-carry rotation with the Eagle and large KnifeArt CF Seb 21. The stonewash is just perfect for that.
I'm not sure if I'm sold on the Spanto yet--it is kind of a sharpened pry-bar--but it's been OK on the job so far. I like the rest of the knife so well that I won't be moving it out, so I guess there'll be some other grinds to buy to take for a spin--slicer, spearpoint, maybe a harpoon.
...another "knife club" to belong to and more hits to the old wallet. Here she is...
