Ebbtide..... you were right. Taking the pics is almost as fun as using them. I am playing around with the light box, and am getting better results. There not the best yet, but I'm having fun trying. Two new knives to my collection from Ragnar. Moras (in my eyes) have kinda a "baby moose" effect on me in that only a parent can love:D

Great thread tarmix. Like your new knife. Who made it?

I love seeing photo's of what everyone is collecting/using. Just got a new camera so I thought I should contibute a pic.

Ed Kalfayan Tactical/Fighter 6" blade, O1 steel. 11'' overall

Sorry, leatherbird... somehow I missed seeing your post... didn't mean to ignore you! I believe you're referring to Ron Leuschen's 'The Winning Hand'. Here's the specs:

10 1/2" blade of ladder pattern san mai damascus made up of 1084, 15n20 and a core of O-1.
15 3/4" OAL.
Guard & butt cap are browned mild steel.
Giraffe bone spacers.
Handle wood is figured claro walnut with handmade mosaic pins.
Escutcheon plates are copper held on with hand made rivets.

Ron's Bowie took the award for "Best Bowie Knife" at the 2003 W.C.K.A. KAMLOOPS Show.

WOW... not only is that a fantastic looking knife, you took a great pic as well. Good work. Thanks for sharing:thumbup:

It sure is nice to see that Leuschen again. I think it probably represents the pinnacle of his craft. Thanks for the look!
