Hittin' stuff. Eye poking. Its an adaptation of the Apache Thorn of Parisian fame, with the brace extended to give hammer-fist striking, crushing and grinding options. This was is made of aluminum, Muskrat Man Knife and Tool makes several variations of these that he calls the Anderson Thorn pattern. Here's a pic from him.

A beautiful pair of liner locks with fine crack bark Ivory and Devin Thomas Mokume from one of South Africa's brightest young knife makers, Louis van der Walt.

He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident shortly after he made this pair. A terrible loss for our small knife community.
