A Farmer in the works, eh? Probably something special, I'll bet! :thumbup::thumbup:

I'd really like to get a Farmer, but I can't make up my mind on whether to just get a new silver one for under $30 (the rational choice), or pay 2 or 3 times that for a more unusual color (in an attempt to be "cooler"). :confused: Up until a few months ago, it would have been a no-brainer for me: substance over style, function over form, mind over heart, economics over aesthetics. But now I actually consider making the "unwise choice", and that sort of worries me! :o:(:o

For me, cooler always gets the nod because the wise choice is a constant...the unwise, fleeting and tinged with the regret of opportunity lost.
 
The stores here in the Netherlands sold silver alox SAKs only for years, but I noticed that some now also have a few colored alox SAKs in stock. Bought a new black Pioneer with red shield last week.

Its 70* here in Virginia, so I went outside and carved up this little cross from a piece of cedar from my backyard.
