Roger I love those knives. That blade is one of my favorites of Burts. Its probably just luck that it came out looking so cool.

Ok, that's one of my favorite Lurquin blades of all time... Long and deadly :)

I'm suspicious there's a beautiful hamon there that we can't see in pictures, but if there isn't send it back and demand another ;) Sam's hamons are always gorgeous and this blade really begs for one.


And Joe those pictures from blade are great! I think you got some of the finest 'pure fighter' makers right there.

Thanks Lorien, that one was a surprise Father's Day gift from my wife and daughter. Has my name and my daughter's engraved on the guard.
 
This is pretty much the only knife I own that would be classified as such, and it's one of my favourites! (by Claudio Sobral)




I'm also holding on to this for the time being, and it's definitely in the category, but I won't own it for much longer since it's for sale. (by Todd Begg)
