Beautiful work Adam.

Here's a fighter I drafted up which AdamVigil is currently building for me. The swedge profile has slightly altered since the original draft, and that by both choice and accident, I have updated the change in the drawing you see.

I've uploaded a very small VIDEO file of the blade at the moment, showing what a great job Adam is doing on it. Feel free to download it and have a look, it's only 4.1Mb in size. I've no doubt it will be an outstandingly made knife once it's completed given the state it's in thus far. Adam has what it takes.

I've had yet ANOTHER problem regarding the scales. After the 3rd set of scales chosen for this knife, the 3rd set has finally proven to be unworthy. Adam found that the wood itself is basically falling apart when attempting to drill it... which doesn't surprise me given what I've been through with them to this point, and they were the most expensive set that a particular Ebay supplier had at the time of purchase. Adam can vouch for that, I sent him the link to them at the time I bought them. Just as well I didn't go for his cheaper ones. lol!! :D The ones in the drawing below are the 4th, and need I say, FINAL set I've chosen... I hope.:D They're neither the expensive nor cheaper type, but I just love the looks of them. they'll make the knife nice and LOUD, but in a sophisticated way. Just the type of fighter every pacifist would like.;)

Suppliers, suppliers, suppliers... gotta love 'em.

My idea of a Fighter!
Dave

That must be a VERY rare Big Bear - how long is the blade on this one? It looks longer than the standard 8 1/2" versions. Thanks for sharing Ellis.

Chris Linton at Osprey Knife and Tool designed the Ferox knife for this particular purpose, based on his experiences as a U.S.veteran.
