Lets see some trappers

Here's a tiny trapper by Case and a small trapper by Kissing Kranes; I don't think any of them have shown yet.

Here's an old BOKER 1/2 Trapper with some real nice jigged bone and a Saber grind on main blade..

What is the make of that trapper with the wharncliffe blade and wood covers? I also prefer the sleeker trappers with the curves.

Nice trappers everyone!

BJE, if you mean the third pic down with the bocote scales and the dark patina blades, it is a Tidioute #48 that I reground the spey blade into a Wharncliffe/sheepfoot blade.

Yes, that one. Thought it might have been a mod, too bad it's not a regular model, I would be all over that, looks great.

Mark...that is one fine looking trapper!

Thank you kindly!

I kind of got it by mistake! LOL... I bought a knife and the seller shipped this one by mistake, of course I had to buy it as well, there was no sending back that Banana Bone!

PS- It's a Queen Finest Texas Trapper in 1095.

I'm new to traditionals, but my first was a GEC Northfield #48.. "slim dog leg trapper" with crushed sea shell handles.

Nice picture thread... nice Trapper specimens to look at here! :-) I own 6 trappers from three different makers, (canal street, case, and utica). Out of the three brands, the Utica Catskill series Trapper is the least expensive, but it's the one I like the most... go figure! lol! :-)

This is an old Schrade Walden Trapper that my dad stuck in my pocket the day he left my mother.

The old celluloud covers have shriveled and cracked, and the blades are worn down pretty bad.

I carried this knife every day growing up.

I have a fondness for yellow Schrades to this day, especially Trappers. I have acumulated several and I carry them a lot.

Damn, that choked me up a little bit. Good story sir.

This Swaybelly Trapper of Queen's fills the hand nicely. Just like last years forum knife, it is a pleasure to use!
