Yup. I work for the University of Alabama and that was taken a few weeks ago. We just finished doing some excavations at Moundville Archaeological Park prior to the construction of stairway going up the side of one of the mounds. It was an amazing dig.

Archaeologists are the most precise diggers on the planet -- I swear some of them will break out the sandpaper to make sure a wall is perfectly smooth and vertical -- I used to know one who would even do this when digging snow out of the driveway.

I went to UA years ago and even wrote a piece about the Moundville site and museum for the alumni magazine.
Some amazing artifacts have come out of the ground there. I still think about that rattlesnake disk from time to time.
