Got it wrapped with leather cord instead of the traditional paracord or plastic scales, gives it a very nice grip. I'm not sure how long the leather cord will last, guess I'll have to wait and see.

Thanks, I just grabbed some 6mm suede leather cord from a random eBay seller (it was someone from the UK, don't recall the name) and wrapped it the same way as you would with paracord. I'm thinking to add some beeswax to the leather to preserve it better, not sure how it will look but it will definitely help in wet conditions.

I always kinda liked by Benchmade Activator.

The sheath is kind of weird, but it works. I took this picture when it was new out of the box 4 years ago.

I like my BK24 a lot more.

Well, thanks to whoever raised this thread from the dead. I was always more of a folder guy for smaller blades until maybe a year or two ago when I bought my first BK14. I did have a CRKT Ryan Plan B hangin' around that had a horrible glass-fill neck sheath, so after getting my 14 and diggin' the old Plan B out of the bottom of the drawer, I hollered at my ol' friend The_710 to bend me up a couple of nice sheaths for 'em, and I've been carrying one or the other nearly every day ever since. Don't have many pics of 'em, but here's one or three that might suffice:

And howdy to everybody. Been an absentee Beckerhead for awhile. Moved from N. Alabama down to the Southeastern corner of the state outside of Dothan. Got five acres of heavily-wooded property, a year-round creek runnin' through it and a big, strong porch swing that I enjoy hangin' out on anytime I'm not felling trees, cleanin' up storm damage or working in our sustenance garden or multiple yards. We're so far out in the sticks that if I gave you my physical address, Google Maps wouldn't find it. GA is about 10 miles away, FL is about 20, and the red ants are as big as my baby toe! Internet is on an old hand-crank steam engine though, so surfin' the interwebs happens a lot less around here than it used to up North. The knives have been getting more use than ever before, as have the guns, and me and GW couldn't be happier. We plan on dyin' here, hopefully after 25 or 30 years of enjoyment. Great to see y'all. I'll try to check in from time to time a little more often.

Hey I was wondering what tall would recommend for a fixed blade edc. I have an izula I was just looking for something else, while I'm at work the izula is clipped outside of my boot because it's usually the easiest place I can reach especially if I'm wearing coveralls

BK11 is my personal favorite for pocket carry..
