When in doubt, you can always count on Joezilla for some great pics. Joe, where is the picture of the crab trying to steal your stuff though? Didn't it try to walk away with a blade?

here is an abe elias diving sparrow knife. There was cheese that was out of the shot. A while back I thought Abe's knives were to thin. I completely retract that statement as I had no idea what I was talking about. Abe's knife pwnt me.

Hey Joe - What were you makin in that pic where you had branches aranged like a grill?

I remember that Squirrel hunt. You animal! I'll never forget that machete toss. Even if that squirrel was handicapped, you are 1/2 ninja I swear. Your machete vs. my .410? No comparison, you win!

I am guilty of hardly ever taking a camera along when we go camping or hunting. When I do take it hunting I usually leave it back at the camp. 90 percent of my wood working is done with my hatchet and I don't cut any wood unless I have to. Usually there is plenty of wood that needs no cutting for a fire so I seldom do that kind of stuff. I do a lot of work on wood in the Garage, I make walking sticks so after I get them cut in the woods I bring them home to work on. I do a ton of whittling and bark shaving but for 90 percent of that I use the disposable knife blades in a dry wall knife.

Like I said before, I had to cut so much wood as a kid for farm and ranch use that it lost it's entertainment value long ago.;) I always carry several knives while outdoors but many times I do a whole camping trip and never use a knife except for food prep or filleting fish. I gotta admit that in 60 years of hunting, fishing and camping, I have yet to split a piece of wood in the field with my knife.

A south American jungle native can get by with a broken old hickory knife and never split, baton, or strike a ferro rod. More power to 'em. Backpackers think most of us are nuts carrying a large knife into the field. More power to 'em too. I have never had to use a fuzz stick .

- So what! for myself, the fun is learning something new to do with a knife, whether it be mundane or not needed. Its still fun as heck to whittle and cut and chop for no reason:p

More pics!!!

I'm so jealous. I wish I could get out 10% as much as you folks seem to.

Oh well, guess I need to just be happy that I do get out at all.

Nice pics!!
