Lets see those Leeks!

Glad you guys are enjoying the pics. Here are some more.

1660BR - plain black and red smoked pattern aluminum scales with bead blasted blade.

1660BRCKT - just like the one above except it has the DLC coated black blade. I love the smoked Leeks with black blades.

1660BP - this is the 2nd model with 1660BP as the model number. This particular one is the coveted black and purple smoked Leek. I don't know how limited this is, but I do know it's very hard to find.

1660T - this is a plain edge tanto bead-blasted blade Leek. These were a limited run a few years ago.

1660TSW - this is similar to the one above except with the very nice Kershaw stonewash finish on the blade. I've said it before, but I love their stonewash finish.

1660TCKTST - this is a very nice tanto Leek. It was another limited run done a few years ago and is extremely hard to find. It has the older Kershaw black coated finish. I still don't know what the difference is from the current black finish, but it has a more glossy finish compared to the matte finish. I'm still looking for it's brother the 1660TCKT.

1660GLD - a very shiny gold knife, the gold Leek. I have included 2 angles from front on because just a slight change in the angle will give a large difference in the reflection. I love all of the shiny Leeks. I'm still looking for the serrated gold Leek!

So nice! I love the look of the leeks. I'll be getting my first leek (1660CKT) in a few days. :D

This will be my last post in here for a little bit...I'm almost out of new ones to post :(

1660OLBLK - similar to a lot of other ones I've posted, this has the olive colored aluminum scaled with the DLC coated blade.

1660DSBLK - like the one above except it has desert sand colored scales.

1660BPST - I've posted the black pearl with the plain edge blade, here is the serrated version. I love the pearls that Kershaw used on these.

1660SBS - Here is another Leek with a metal overlay. This one has the spider web over the whole frame.

1660SBKSO - Here is one exactly like the one above except it has Snap On etched on it. This was part of a series of three (black shown here, red, and blue)

1660CKTGT - This is one of the more rare and harder to find Leeks that I have. This was limited to 435 pieces ~ 7 years ago. The silver twill really looks good on the otherwise all black Leek.

1660VIB - I have to admit, I think the pictures of these rainbow Leeks turned out great. The VIB stands for vibrant, and that they are! The colors pop on these suckers. They're hard to keep finger prints off of though :)

1660VIBST - Just like the one above, except with serrations. Another note, all of them are very slightly different. I've had a few and they are all just a little bit different on how much of each color is shown.

1660SS - Here is the shiny stainless version. My picture doesn't show the reflection too good, but this thing is quite shiny.
6866617087_ab8158da93_b.jpg

1660SS90 - Like the one above except it was for the Snap On 90th anniversary so it has that writing on it.

1660BG - The coveted black and gold Leek. It has the black boron coating and gold accents. This is Kershaw's nicest gentleman's knife ever made that I can think of. Of course I'm partial to the Leek, but I sure do like this one.

One of those black and golds on flea bay right now. Going for a pretty penny too. Sure are purty though.

Thanks for all the pics so far. Don't forget about this thread when you get some of the others you are looking for! We need more Leek pron haha! Great job!

Not sure if a SnapOn leek is one that you leek lovers seek but I see one for sale in my town. PM me for info if interested.

That one is not available, But in the "also" section there is another similar. Very nice. I collect leeks. I've got some nice ones. But y'all got some really really nice stuff!

I lost a TiZDP recently but luck has it the replacement arrived just today! Lucky me! That's a mistake I can't afford to make again.

Still, I may have to think about one of these. Amazon says its from Kershaw. If that's from Thomas and the gang directly it's a must! I've long known about frankenleeks and so forth, but I'm seeing stuff on this thread I never knew existed! w00t!

This has been a great thread! I obviously don't have the collection or the photography skills of most here, but I do enjoy my two Leeks. The basic model is one I got from Amazon after seeing a picture of one on a gun forum I read. It is the one that got me started back on this insanity. Since I purchased it I have fallen back in love with traditional folders and picked up more than I probably should have. The rainbow Leek is a blem I got from Dave. One or the other of these two is clipped to my pocket everyday (it's the rainbow today).

Having a hard time deciding. Looking at two "smoke/CKT" Leeks or a Spyderco Manix 2. The 2 Leeks are the same price as the 1 Spyderco. Decisions, decisions........ lol

Guess I have to look at it this way. The Spyderco is still being made, the Leeks aren't. :D
