Let's see those micarta handles!

Here is my Bret Dowell 2 3/4" Dogleg in green canvas micarta and my Rick Menefee Dogleg Trapper shadow pattern in natural/tam canvas micarta:

You need contrast to see the effect of the Micarta on the Kershaw Japaneese made 'Gentleman's Folder' knife. It is a beautiful knife - nice VG10 blade and brass liner, pins, etc. The black leather sheath is okay. Hard to believe - if you want one - their Model 1993-2 - get it quick - it's been discontinued! The price is quite reasonable, too.

I wanted to show one of my Buck BCCI 20th Anniversary special 110s. Nice BG-42 blade, nickel-silver scales, and red/blacl Micarta - covered by black G10! Yeah, you need a strong light and magnifier to see the Micarta. I wish the Buck Custom Shop had Micarta as a scale choice for their custom 110s.
