I'm getting a Sebenza Insingo from the first production run, #21 of 50. I liked the blade shape and had been thinking about springing for one, but when I saw this special offer for hardly more than a new Insingo, I had to pounce.

That is an awesome blade, congratulations!! I saw it posted but couldn't afford it (plus I think it is a small, right? Too small for my mitts), so I used my pay pal credit to get an Umnumzaan, also from Lone_Wolfe; what are friends for, right? I think I maxed out my knife budget for the year already; oh, and welcome to the addiction Girl!

Thanks, I was really excited when I snagged this one. You're right; it's a small Sebbie, but I think it will be a good size for me as I usually like a smaller (~3") blade anyway. Hope your Zaan lives up to the hype I've heard about them!

You chose wisely! And you got a rare knife too, I'm surprised LW let that one go, and yes the Zaan lives beyond the hype for sure, I actually got one before I got a 21, you really have to experience the amazingly smooth ceramic ball interface between the lock bar and the tang of the blade, a CRK innovation, and a masterpiece in my opinion, dang, I have 4 Zaans now!

So, the Insingo arrived! I was too busy studying for midterms to post earlier, but she really is a beauty, in her own tomboyish and totally utilitarian way. Of course, as soon as she arrived she was itching to be united with her little sister the Mnandi. Actually, it was hard to convince them to come out of the pocket for a photo shoot!
