No, this isn't an invitation to a slumber party. :o ;)

But you're welcome to take your shoes off and set a spell. :)

The mailman brought me some happiness today in the form of my 1st P.J. Tomes folder. I am really liking this one. Real nice fit and finish, and just a great simple slipjoint. Jigged bone, stainless bolsters, & 12c27 steel. About 3 & 7/8" closed. Excellent every day carry from a well respected Virginian.

Please break out your P.J. Tomes, fixed and folders, and let's have a good old holiday weekend sharing show & tell.

Also, since I made reference to a holiday weekend, let's all remember to give thanks for our freedom which is earned at a high price by our Nations' Veteran's, active duty armed forces, Reservists, and National Guard.

"Never forget those that serve."

I'll lead off with a couple of outdoor shots I took this afternoon.

Ford, you done good. P.J. makes a heck of a knife and is an interesting character as well. He knows a lot about the history of traditional knives (especially Bowies).

Congrats on that beauty!

I used to own this Scagel reproduction (forged 52100) by P.J. but then it went to our own Rob Thomason who has since dispatched it elsewhere I am told...

All of my kitchen knives are from PJ, I should probably take some pics of them.
For fixed blades here's one of my favorites.

For a folder, this piece is really amazing. It has a slipjoint blade and a lockback all in a tight little package.

fewpop,I told you you'd like that.

A Remington bullet Tomes with forged blade that I bought from Rob Thomason and then foolishly sold last summer. :o

Sunburst,

I'll meet you half way between Colorado and Florida for that slap.

Ya'll might want to meet in Texas and slap Rob for selling it. :p :D

Great pictures guys, thanks so much for sharing them.

C'mon Vince, get your Tomes out. :)

Ford,
At the present time,I'm Tomesless,I keep it up with these customs,I'll be homeless,as well

LMAO, Vince

Tomesless and homesless, that's rich...or poor...or something...

Just remember, you always have a home here at BFC. :p ;)

Ford,

The Tomes in the middle of this picture (with another forged blade) I got from Rob, traded it to Vince and he sold it to a guy who dropped it into Lake Michigan while fishing. (Top knife is a Morrow that I also sold)

Ralph, bring broken pieces of glass and other shiny things and I'll probably trade the rest of my knives to you.

Very nice knives, Mike, but clearly someone needs to slap Vince now, and the guy who dropped it in the lake. Actually, while we're on the subject, someone should slap me for selling the ebony and ivory Dozier folder I bought from Rob some time ago. I think I'm goin' slaphappy. :o

Wow! That Rob character must be a real dumb*** for letting all those fine knives get away from him.
