Preston had to go and showcase the stag/leather in D2 on the SPS, and now, the rest of the story....

This 118 was my first Buck knife, purchase at the PX in 1969. I have grown so attached to it I have to take it with me whenever I'm in the field even though there are others like the D2 118 and the Alaskan Guide 692 that I carry but haven't been able to use to any extent...not because of not trying...just that the game hasn't been cooperating...save a few fish and game birds. That knife is a 118 with copper d'guard custom by Joe Houser of Buck Knives.
