Here's mine an O1 Blued Custom Bud Nealy Aikuchi 1 of 7 made back in the 80's when Bud decided to go full time as a maker.

BTW bought this at his first big show, also the first ECCKS show.

I keep telling myself to retire this knife but I can't keep it out of my pocket, it's the perfect knife.

The bluing wearing off, the sheath has been modified where it cracked and the blades bolster was modified for blind orientation in my hand, but I love it, and last time Bud saw it he showed all around his shop grinning with the pride of a proud Papa. :D

I beat on all of my customs to varying degrees but the one that's been abused the most is my Talonite AB Chipmonk. It's amazes me the amount of abuse this little 1.5" blade will take.

This Jeff Hall Arch Ally is one of the few customs that I've held onto. It's not really a utility piece, so the edge is unused, but it's a little banged up from being carried. It's set up with a suspender clip/static cord for IWB carry which is perfect for this knife because it has a flat handle.

Let's see if I can find a pic of my two custom carries...

O.K. a good pic of my Rinaldi Sharkstooth...one of the first 40 knives he's made. And one of the first knives made by Danbo! He's gonna hate seeing it here. LOL
They are both part of my edc rotation.

Nice photos. It is amazing how many people carry fixed blades instead of folders. Nice to see something other than folders.

Custom fixed blades are cheaper than custom folders. ;)

That being said, I have two custom folders that I use currently:

Mike Draper Sabra:

Bailey Bradshaw Midlock:

I've got a Tighe Stick I'm looking to trade for a Tighe Breaker, and I'd use the Tighe Breaker.

TLC, who customized those?

The 110 came from the Buck custom shop, the SAK I sent to a guy in california to have the Elk scales made and fitted.

Agreed Steven. The midlock is one good lookin' piece. I really, REALLY like the Sabra!!

I've seen some Draper folders recently and not been real turned out, but that Sabra is sweet! Here's the only knife I carry everyday. One of the first ones I ever made, actually! 1084, maroon Micarta handles, convex chisel grind. It didn't look real great to begin with, in terms of finish, but it does everything I need it to! :D Other than that, when I carry knives it's always something different, and none of them are customs, usually.

Thanks! It makes for a very sleek and elegant EDC. The sheath is quite the work of art as well. By Kenny Rowe:

The Sabra has been a great user too. Kept up the edge with a strop and crock sticks and the bead-blast hasn't shown really any wear.

Your review years ago is what turned me on to the Chipmonk. Little fixed blades are always handy to have around!

Yes, it is. I can't believe I actually let it go. Steven, do you still have the awesome deerskin lined Kenny Rowe leather pouch that I had made for it?

Dohhh! Guess maybe I should actually scroll down to the last post, before throwing my comments in! :)

The knife wouldn't be the same without the sheath! It has been on my side every day since I got it!

BTW, how old is the knife? It doesn't have J.S. or M.S. on it...
