Lets see your Billy Cans

Mine was made by friend of mine out of copper and lined with tin.

Thats a nice one.

i would really like a zebra but cant find one and i cant even find a price to even see if it's in my range lol

Just got this idea of maybe going to the thrift/second hand store, and scoring a used ,stainless cooking pot, take off the handle , and drill holes in the side for a bail wire.

Looks like a project idea.

Yeah here's mine

It's aluminum so it's way lighter than the SS ones and holds near half a gallon so I've used it as the sole pot for a group of 4 before.

I've seen those Zebra ones but they look heavy and the ones I have seen don't have bails on the back so they would seem to be harder to pour.

This one can be taken on and off the fire and poured and the lid taken off all with sticks.

You guys have some nice cans! I am going to have to see if I have a can that doesn't have rusty water or quench oil residue in it.

Here's my can, copper and ceramic cup, and horn spoon that fits into it. Not nearly as heavy as it looks, and I think they just ooze class.

For the other folks, like me, looking for Zebra Billy Cans...Bens Backwoods is the only place I have found them on the net, but they are currently out of stock. I emailed, and they replied that they are expecting a shipment in mid-November.
