I have never seen a seven string guitar. What do you call it, besides Rob Stanley?

That's cool. What kind of pickups are those? And what wood is the top? Flamed maple or koa, maybe?
They are Carvin active pickups and the guitar is made entirely of walnut. The top of the body and the headstock are figured walnut. It's a very nice wood.
Walnut! ... sounds heavy
For some reason, I thought you' be a vibrato bridge kind of guy.
I am! But I decided to go for the fixed bridge this time. The walnut isn't much different as far as weight goes compared to mahogany. My Suhr is solid mahogany and they're about the same weight, the Carvin being ever so slightly heavier.
That's a shame,I would like to have my SP101 double cut. I could have it bead blasted though.I can imagine a Busse guitar with double cut INFI hardware, a layer of black canvas covering the body for the black canvas Micarta look (or completely made out of Micarta?), and red-and-black G10 binding.
Only knives go into the double cut bead-blasting machine though. I asked!
I got a lump of coal

Oh I already do! It's a little powerhouse in the palm of your hand. Supper accurate too!
