Lets see your collection

Thanks moonwilson. Its design seems so awkward somehow. Thanks for information. One more thing, do I see right, below that yellow handled sodbuster is case knife with thumbstuds? Never really seen one with thumbstuds. What is it?

I think it might be a trapperlock.

Edit:

Ahhh puukkoman beat me to it. :D

Moonwilson, a comprehensive and tasteful collection on display there:thumbup:

Is that GEC 23 with the serial No.05 on the bolster in Ram's Horn? It's a big 'un but I like those scales.

Here is a collection of some Sheffield-made mop knives I put together. It's hard to get a good group photo.

I love seeing the same handle material or the same pattern in one batch.
Very impressive smiling-knife.

Rich, I really enjoyed looking at your collection. You have some really nice tools there, and as you can tell by my username, I am a big fan.
Personally, I'm down to only one puukko in my collection these days.
Those barrel knives are really cool, too; they must have been difficult to track down!

How can a guy with a handle of "puukkoman" only have one puukko??? :-)
Thanks, been collecting since I was 8 (about 58 years ago). The barrel knives
have been a developing collection for many, many years.

Not much of a collection, but I do carry/use all of them. There're a few more, but they sort of belong to my youngest (Now 9).

I think they call it brimstone bone.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your collection and to navihawk for your comments on my mop display. Much appreciated.

I love hunting for them in antique stores and yards sales. What are the top two and the one above the un-x-led?

So true. I forgot to add the ones I've picked up at antique stores, shops, & garage sales while traipsing around with my wife.

Hey randomlooker, I've got a few of those Rough Rider brown sawcut bone with the fancy bolsters too--great bling for the buck! Here's most of mine in their display cases.

As you can see, I'm kind of addicted to ram's horn handles.

Ram's Horn certainly does look nice. I've got a RAT3 sheath knife in it.
Wonder if it has shrink problems like Buffalo often does?

smiling-knife, how is it finding knives where you live? is there a big collector market like over here?

jatmat, what a collection, i've seen it before. "Yeah baby, Thats what I'm talking about".(austin Powers)
