Lets see your CPK in Leather!

Black was definitely needed with for the Osage scales on the acid etched DEK2 and while shopping I needed this FK2 sheath with ostrich on it, they‘re both fantastic quality in looks and in function! Thanks cpirtle cpirtle !

Miss my old friend Grog 😥 The sumobobetch has totally abandoned us but at times I get intelligence reports from a highly skilled intel officer named Jo that seems to indicate that Groggy's still alive and kicking but perhaps moved on from the miscreants and the reprobates in here. Live long and live well Grogster :) Luckily for me, now I have a much more caring friend named Bill 🤣

Oh, I intend to bequeath this sheath to Nathan. I dunno why, but I think that he liked it a lot. Of course, it all depends on whether Nathan and I will remain to be my close-distant "friends" by when the time comes!

That’s one of my top three (there are four) of favorite grogimus grogimus sheaths. I don’t own any of them but they are:
The dragon sheath - Nathan’s
The Templar - Gus, I think.
The old man of the woods - yours
And The tree - don’t remember who

No denial in the fact that the bastid was a very talented artist. In fact he is still a talented SOB but seems that his interests have shifted. If you recall, he was also quite a botanical nerd and according to his social media account(s) he's been making Bonsai trees out of copper wires and things, at least I think that they were Bonsais!
 
Further, for those who are newer CPKers among us who may not be familiar, some of Grog's past work can be seen in this thread posted below, including some of the ones which Cap'n has mentioned. There were some other ones like the Spartan which he did for Tommy and the little Dragon which he did for CataD. Some great artwork in this blast from the past:

The first batch of Utility Fighters (years ago) had tool marks. Last year's batch also had tool marks. They were "true to form" of the original. This new batch has fewer tool marks, in part due to a 15,000 pound Mori Seiki machining center doing a better job than the 9,000 pound Bridgeport mill...
