grogimus grogimus I got the idea from using the SpecOps sheaths for years. One really nice thing is when you undo your belt the weight of knife in the sheath doesn’t pull your belt free and slide off on the ground.

I only have an HDMC, not a regular MC. After my debacle with @fonedork's Shiv I'm super leery of having someone send me a knife to fit leather for. There would have to be a time limit for me to just say 'Oops'.

No worries man. I don’t really want to be long without it myself (carrying daily) plus the wait time on the border. Customs here would probably charge me twice as is!

I don't know the details but sounds like one of my worst fears realized. I am a total believer in fitting the sheath to the knife, which requires the knife obviously. I sheath a lot of customs which have to be sent to me for fitting, but for CPK, Busse and a few others I stock everything, which gets expensive and takes up a lot of space!

Ok, so I'm catastrophically stupid sometimes. I had my MC packed away and for some reason it was labeled in my head as 'Heavy Chopper'. @Casinostocks was kind enough to remind me that I'm a ding dong and had made MC sheaths. Easy to tell the difference in use comparing the LC and BC handle darkening compared to the MC.

Congratulations on those beautiful sheaths Gus! Chad's work is so well executed and the materials he uses are always top notch.
