Hey Brian!

I've just gathered all the materials for my MT18, so that one will be forthcoming. Until then, here's a K390 to add to the photos :)

No pins in mine just roughed up the timber and tang with a grinder and then a 40grit belt

I'm generally not a big fan of artificially induced corrosion ;) but that is both fascinating and very attractive - nicely done.

She's all glued up with turquoise colored box elder scales and orange liners. Two steel Corby bolts for the pins. If the weather will permit, I'm going to start grinding/shaping today. I'll have the finished product here in a few days (I hope). I love this 110 Mule. The finish on the steel is outstanding.

I'll be using olive green linen Micarta and blue G10 liners, with chain ring bolts for fasteners. No glue--I want the scales to be removable.

You are a brave man!

It was my first attempt at any scales at all, so I used what I had available to me. This round I had planned on using Ti pins, but I ordered the wrong size. I still may order new ones, we'll see what I end up with.

Here's a WIP shot of what I have going for the S110V...
