I would suggest the bottom guard be longer and the top guard a little shorter. The guard should be right behind the choil rather than bisecting it, with the finger groove running into the back of the guard. Also, if you are going to have a slip on guard on a full tang non frame handle you have to make the widest part of the handle narrower than the base of the blade, unless you are going to slip it on from the the front and pin it in place like some of the Loveless knives.

So the knife should be done by tomorrow. Darrin talked me into a closed tang design with a butt cap.
